I used acrylic paint, gesso, watercolor and some pencil to create "Red Hair". Similar in handling to "Willow Speak", "Wrapped Raw" and Rest Cradle", and same pose as "I waited". I love using the acrylic washed surface as my support and then create my linear figurative piece on top of the surface; being aware of utilizing the fluctuating values underneath. The linear becomes powerful, and especially love the Terra cotta hues in rendering the form.

This signed, Fine Art original does require glass.

Red Hair

"Red Hair" is a figurative, mixed media painting created on an archival paper that is 100% acid free and cotton rag. The paper measures approximately 15" x 22". However I would expose an area (as shown) of approximately 11 1/2" x 20" through the opening in a mat or frame.
